Those of us who call ourselves Durangoans are so fortunate to live in a “village” led by so many dedicated stewards.
A thriving community must continue to grow and move forward, and with that happening, it is important to have leaders with the foresight to make wise decisions. We have officials in this city and county who work steadily to move us in the right direction.
One of those individuals is Britt Bassett, who is running for re-election on the La Plata Electric Association Board of Directors for District 3. Without a doubt, he has the experience needed to carefully consider our future energy needs, to understand rate structures and to tackle the diversified energy source challenges and opportunities available. Not only does he have scientific research experience and a business development background, he has a proven record on the LPEA board of directors.
I urge you to vote with me to re-elect Britt Bassett to serve, again, on the La Plata Electric board. He is the right steward for District 3.
