Bayfield 6-year-old has own stock business

Tenley Haddon makes rounds on rodeo circuit
Tenley Haddon lets her aspirations be known at a recent PBR event with her mother, Jymmy. The Haddons live in Bayfield.

There’s no need to ask Tenley Haddon what she wants to be when she grows up. She already is.

Not grown up – at 6 years old she’s still very much a kid – but she also is a full-fledged rodeo stock contractor with her own string of bucking bulls. She owns Crown T Bucking Bulls of Bayfield, Colorado, and recently took one of her bulls to the Buckers Unlimited Finals in Sterling.

Tenley’s mom, Jymmy Haddon, said Tenley knew when she was 3 what she wanted to do with her life.

“When she was 3, she said, ‘I want to have bucking bulls just like Grandpa T,’ and so we bought a couple of bulls,” Jymmy said.
