Registered voters should have received their ballots for two local elections. Ballots are due at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Most Bayfield voters will only have the election for the Bayfield School Board on their ballots.
Most Ignacio voters will not receive a ballot this fall, as there is no school board election.
The exception is for the small number of voters in the Bayfield and Ignacio areas who are residents of the Durango Fire Protection District. They will receive ballots for the district's request for a mill levy increase.
Ballots went in the mail on Oct. 16 and are due at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at Bayfield Town Hall, Farmers Fresh Market in Ignacio, or Durango polling locations, including the La Plata County Clerk's office and La Plata County Administration office.
For more information, call the La Plata County Clerk's Office at 382-6280.
