Lenka Doskocil
Lenka Doskocil, a senior at Bayfield High School, has been awarded the prestigious Boettcher Scholarship.
The scholarship covers four years of tuition and expenses at any private or public school in Colorado, and there is an opportunity to apply for funding for a master's degree, as well.
"I intend to use it to attend Colorado State University as a watershed science major," she wrote to the Times.
Doskocil is a flutist and drum major for the Bayfield High School band and is a member of the FOR Club, among other school activities.
