Bayfield High students to compete at state Skills USA

Bayfield High School students competing in the state SkillsUSA competition this week in Colorado Springs are Chad Winkler, Cordell Ashcraft, Tyler Conner, Mikhael Hagman, Kaleb Koerner and Dylan Burress.

The Bayfield High School SkillsUSA club will travel to Colorado Springs for state-level competition on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Most of the competitions will be at Pikes Peak Community College and Peyton High School. On Friday, the students will compete in Quiz Bowl, which BHS Skills students have won in the past, advancing to national competition. Students competing for BHS are Cordell Ashcraft, who took first in regional competition in architectural drafting; Chad Winkler, second in architectural drafting; Tyler Conner, third in carpentry; Mikhael Hagman, third in cabinet making; Kaleb Koerner, first in carpentry, and Dylan Burress, first in cabinet-making.
