The Town of Bayfield is moving forward to develop a town vision regarding community and economic development. A visioning meeting scheduled is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Pine River Senior Center.
Since 2008, the town has worked on implementing economic development projects listed in their Economic Development Strategic Plan. The results of past surveys and community meetings can be found on the town's website at www.bayfieldgov.org. The town believes that solidifying a vision will help prioritize economic development efforts moving forward, and wants public input in the process.The Region 9 Economic Development District will facilitate the meeting.
