The Pine River Library not only provides books, videos, music, internet access - there's more.
Add in the beautiful park, public use rooms and youth programs, the library is proven as our true community center. With the growing population of young families and children, along with more folks moving here after retirement, the library is maxing out the resources it can provide to the Pine River Valley.
The proposed mill increase will help the library grow and become an even more active part of our community. We moved to La Plata County 10 years ago and to Forest Lakes two years ago.
The Pine River Library was one of the reasons we love having a Bayfield address.
