Ivan Joseph, a student at Southern Ute Montessori Indian Academy, is screened last month by Ken Gaherty of the Bayfield Lions Club.
The Bayfield Lions Club is conducting its annual Kidsight eye tests.
The screenings detect vision problems in children, which can be treated if diagnosed early.
The screener is a Plusoptix, which was obtained by the Durango Lions Club through a grant from La Plata Electric Association Roundup Funds and is shared with the Bayfield Lions Club.
The Bayfield Lions Club has the screener through early December.
