The Town of Bayfield has purchased a 23.8-acre parcel along the Pine River. Following up on its parks and open space plan, the town has hired a consultant, Groundwork Studio, to develop a conceptual design for the town's river properties. That includes Joe Stephenson Park, Eagle Park, Pine River Senior Center, the new parcel, and the wastewater treatment plan.
