I've been to the Bayfield 4th of July parade and park event many times. But this year I was part of a parade entry and had a booth in the park.
I just want to say what an awesome job the Town of Bayfield and the Parks and Recreation department staff in particular did.
Their communication and organization skills for this event were the best I've ever experienced.
And one more thing. I noticed a huge amount of the kids in red, white and blue. Even the teens and adults dressed in the colors of the day and flags everywhere. It sure made me proud to be an American and also a resident of Bayfield.
Remember: A road paved with good intentions... won't get you to town.
