Dear generous community member,
Now in existence in Bayfield for over 11 years, Youth American Football League (YAFL) is dedicated to providing the youth of our community an opportunity to participate in a program designed to build leadership skills, character and good SPORTSMANSHIP!
YAFL is a non-profit corporation dedicated to teaching football for girls and boys in the Bayfield area. Last year we provided the opportunity to over 115 boys and girls to participate and compete in this organized sport which starts with second grade playing in the Mighty Mite division all the way to sixth grade.
It's our mission to provide a fun, safe, and learning environment for young athletes to grow and compete in the great sport of football. In order to meet our mission and to continue to provide the youth in our community the opportunity to play football, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals just like you, we wouldn't be able to offer a top quality YAFL football program in our community each year.
We ask that you make a commitment to support our appeal by making a donation. Bayfield YAFL is a non-profit, tax exempt organization pursuant to the IRS regulations. The affairs of Bayfield YAFL are managed by duly selected town representatives. This year our goal is to raise $10,000 and we hope that you will be able to make a contribution. Your generosity will make a difference in the youth of our community. Monies raised go to provide the following:
. Up-to-date/safe football equipment - helmets, shoulder pads, jerseys, pants/pads, footballs, sweatshirts, hats, etc.
. Field rental, i.e. - high school stadium for home games, lining of the fields, and the use of practice fields at BHS and BMS.
. Medical supplies, uniform cleaning, coach's training and certifications, including concussion training.
Remember that every donation makes a difference, regardless of size, and it all stays in Bayfield to help Bayfield Youth!
