It’s going to take a little more work for the Bayfield High School girls basketball team to get to .500 now.
The Wolverines lost 52-45 at Centauri on Friday night in La Jara.
BHS (6-8, 1-2 Intermountain League) trailed Centauri (11-3, 2-2 IML) 41-23 after three quarters but put up 22 in the fourth to cut the Falcons’ final advantage to seven points.
Statistics weren’t immediately available.
The Wolverines have lost three out of their last four games played and two in a row in league play. They’ll have a chance to even their conference record at 2-2 at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Alamosa.
