As more and more folks pour into Durango, the more congested our streets get, and the more ugly it seems so many of these folks from big cities get.

Case in point, as myself and another were turning into north City Market recently, there was an obviously confused, and not very steady, little lady walking right in front of me. An individual apparently decided his journey was far more important and started honking furiously at our nerve not to just run her down and get on with it.

The only conclusion I could draw was that his time was more valuable than this little lady’s life. Whether or not he saw her is immaterial. Most folks don't stop in the middle of the street for giggles and grins.

You who are honking and frothing at the mouth – chill out!
