What a great year for Be Frank Foundation programs!
The first annual BFF Elementary Orchestra and DRUM festival was held in May, including an evening concert with Maestro Thomas Heuser conducting the Advanced group, and BFF instructors sharing the podium for the Beginning and Combined orchestras.
The quality of student musicianship continues to improve impressively, with inventory and repairs managing to keep up - often just in time!
Quality instructors and student interns are helping provide positive, productive experiences for motivated, dedicated students! We are grateful and excited to continue to improve programs and experiences with your support!
Riverview and Florida Mesa Combined Orchestras performed for an appreciative capacity crowd on Dec. 20 at Riverview Elementary. Visit our Facebook Page for more photos of BFF winter concerts.
The Ballantine Family Fund awarded Be FRANK a $10,000 grant to help us create "a vibrant and healthy community" and "reach new potential." This was unsolicited, making it even more encouraging and a wonderful, year-end gift! This gift will support a new Durango Summer Music Conservatory for elementary and middle school musicians!
Thank you to the 169 businesses, families, individuals, and granting foundations supporting Be FRANK students, instructors and families in 2018! These donations include cash, in-kind, and silent auction donations.
