The Southern Ute Bear Dance Pow Wow will be held on Friday and Saturday, May 24-25, at Sun Ute Community Center, 390 Mouache Circle, Ignacio.
The pow wow will feature the Gourd Dance at 5 p.m. on Friday and at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Grand Entry will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday and at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday. There will be multiple age categories for dancers and styles, as well as a drum contest.
Registration will run from 4 p.m. Friday to 1 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free and camping is available at Sky Ute Downs.
