Bear unwelcome mat a useful invention

May I be among those congratulating Jim Sims for his inventive bear deterrent mats.

This example of visionary creativity and practical problem-solving is proof-positive of American know-how and gumption – and will undoubtedly significantly reduce human-ursine conflict.

I have employed a modified version of his practical invention by affixing the carpet-tack strips around the edges of my tinfoil hat, thus preventing unwanted thoughts from creeping into my cranium and allowing me to maintain a fresh, positive outlook.

It also seems to deflect stray radio waves! Thanks, Jim!
