I am writing in support of John Beebe for the LPEA board of directors. He has followed LPEA operations for more than 30 years. I believe he would unfailingly promote the mandates of the LPEA mission statement – specifically, to provide safe and reliable electricity at the lowest reasonable cost, while being environmentally responsible.
John’s noteworthy qualifications include a thorough understanding of budgeting, payroll and future projections, learned over a career that includes more than 10 years in public accounting, 12 years in the management of a very large corporate law firm, many dedicated years with his fire district, and 30 years serving his local homeowners association. I believe he would be an excellent steward of our resources and an effective leader with a great eye for efficiency.
