It is pretty pathetic that a panhandler can make more money than our firefighters and probably the police in this city.
I saw on 32nd Street a guy using his kids to beg. My husband is a disabled firefighter after 36 years of saving lives, and these panhandlers are able to make more money tax-free.
Wake up, Durango.
