A beginning beekeeping class series will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 9 and Feb. 16 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
The classes are accredited by the Colorado State Beekeepers Association’s Master Beekeeper Program as the prerequisite for apprentice level beekeepers.
The series is free for veterans, and $50 for others.
