Pine River Library will offer a beginning fly fishing course from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at the library park, 395 Bayfield Center Drive.
The class will be taught by local guide Glenn Tinnin. Participants will learn how to fly fish or brush up on basic skills in the workshop, which will also include casting practice. The library will supply rods for those who do not have their own equipment.
Registration is $35 and preregistration is required. Call or stop by the library information desk to sign up.
