Benefit for Durango Food Bank

Volunteers Gary Thrash, left, and Tom Hamlin, right, unpack canned goods to be given away to needy La Plata County families. Seasons Rotisserie & Grill is holding a fund raiser for the food bank on Dec. 9.

Seasons Rotisserie & Grill will mark its 20th anniversary Dec. 9 by sponsoring a “food and funds” benefit for the Durango Food Bank.

The eatery at 764 Main Ave. is offering samples of its new dishes, old standbys and fine wine for a minimum $25 donation and some nonperishable foods.

The deal is valid from 6 to 9 p.m. A cash bar will be available.

Seasons opened in December 1994, but was closed for a year following a February 2008 fire in the 700 block of Main Avenue that destroyed its building.
