Representatives for Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet will hold a listening session in Montezuma County from noon to 3 p.m. July 30 at Cortez City Hall, 123 E. Roger Smith Ave.
Bennet invites residents who need help dealing with the Department of Veterans Affairs, IRS, Social Security Administration or another federal agency, or have a suggestion for Congress that will help local families or the community to meet one-on-one with a representative from his office at the session.
To schedule an appointment, send an email to Janet_Wolf@bennet.senate.gov and include a brief description of the issue to be addressed. For those already working with someone in Bennet’s office, include that information as well.
Those without email access may call 259-1710. Constituents do not need to wait for listening session dates to ask for help or share opinions. Call any Bennet office at any time for assistance.
