The Four Corners Gem and Mineral Show will be held all day Saturday and Sunday at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave. Sixty dealers from the West will sell gems, minerals, fossils, beads, handcrafted jewelry, lapidary equipment and more.

Also Saturday, the 26th annual Art on the Animas arts and crafts fair will be showcased near the Santa Rita Park visitor center, 149 South Camino del Rio. The fair will feature cigar box guitars and banjos, wine barrel art, copper and steel wall sculptures, blown glass, stone birdbaths and fountains, paintings, stained glass, quilts, photography and more.
