Your best bets for this weekend are the San Juan Brewfest on Saturday in Durango and the Vallecito Lake bike week in Vallecito.
Chevron will present the 19th annual San Juan Brewfest on Saturday at Buckley Park, 1200 Main Ave. The festival will feature 50 breweries, more than 100 beers and music performances by Dragondeer, Farmington Hill and Yantra, to benefit United Way of Southwest Colorado.
The festival will open at 1 p.m. for attendees with general admission tickets. Those with VIP or upgraded general admission tickets can arrive at 10 a.m. to receive a wristband; VIP ticket-holders can enter the event at noon, and those with upgraded general admission tickets can enter at 12:30 p.m. The event is 21 and older; attendees must show valid identification and receive a wristband to enter. No dogs are allowed, and child care options will be limited.

The Vallecito Lake Bike Week kickoff party will be held all day on Saturday, and the annual “Sickest Bike Contest: Best Bikes in the Four Corners” will be held on Sunday. Both Saturday and Sunday, the Rusty Shovel will feature live music by the Million Dollar Highway Band from 1 to 5 p.m., and offer food and drink specials.
