Best bets for the weekend in and around Durango

Best bets this weekend for people in and around Durango include the 2018 Durango Wedding Expo and Quadrivium’s “Uncommon Folk” concert.

Durango Weddings Magazine will present the 17th annual Durango Wedding Expo from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.

The upscale, stylish event is the largest and longest-running bridal show in the Four Corners and is dedicated to planning the dream wedding.

The expo will feature aisles of ideas and inspiration, wedding-planning workshops, cake and food tastings, table and floral displays, wedding exhibits, cocktails, music and door prizes. Attendees are encouraged to walk the show, snap photos, get to know local industry professionals, browse displays and discover 2018 party trends.

Tickets, available at the door the day of the show, are $5 for general admission and $10 for VIP.
