Best bets this weekend in Durango include tailgating for the last Durango High School football home game, the FRANK N Stein Fundraiser in Bayfield and the one-year anniversary celebration at 11th Street Station in downtown Durango.
On Friday night, the Durango Education Foundation will host dinner, dessert and hot beverages for a tailgating event at the last football home game of the Durango Demons’ season. The event starts at 4 p.m. on the DHS front lawn, and prize packages will be up for grabs.
On Saturday, the FRANK N Stein Fundraiser in Bayfield will feature a sky-high pumpkin drop, costume contests, prizes, silent auction and more. The event will run from noon to 6 p.m. and will benefit music education programs for La Plata County youths.
Saturday night, stop by the one-year anniversary celebration at the 11th Street Station in downtown Durango. The event will get underway at 5 p.m. and includes a host of activities, including live music, a costume contest and giveaways.
