The annual “Singing with Santa” caroling procession and community Christmas tree lighting will be held Friday.

Each year, about 1,000 children and their parents gather for the event.

Carolers will gather at 5:30 p.m. at TBK Bank, 259 W. Ninth St. At 6 p.m., Santa will arrive in his horse-drawn stagecoach to lead the procession north toward Buckley Park. Glow sticks and caroling lyrics will be provided.

The tree lighting will take place at dusk, around 6:15 p.m., or when the procession arrives at the park. The 100-foot tree is strung with 1,600 LED lights.
