The 18th annual Festival of Trees, presented by Community Connections, will take place from 12 to 5 p.m. Friday to Sunday at the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Grange Hall.

The holiday tradition features more than 60 festive trees, wreaths, gifts and decorations to bid and vote on.

Program proceeds support Community Connections’ mission to help people with disabilities lead healthy and fulfilling lives in Southwest Colorado.

Downtown Durango will make holiday shopping easy this year with Noel Nite, which will be held Friday, all day until 9 p.m.

This year, Noel Nite is a merchant-led effort; more than 80 businesses downtown have joined forces after Local First called off its annual event because of COVID-19 concerns. Downtown merchants will offer discounts and fun throughout the day and into the night.
