Fort Lewis College Performing Arts will present Stephen Sondheim’s Tony award-winning Broadway musical “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.”

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Community Concert Hall at FLC.

The play is the story of former prisoner Benjamin Barker, who returns to London obsessed with exacting revenge on the judge who unjustly convicted him and destroyed his family. With the help of Mrs. Nellie Lovett, they begin their life of grisly crime.

Southwestern Water Conservation District’s 38th annual Southwest Water Seminar theme is “Navigating Shortage.” The seminar will focus the challenges, strategies and successes of tackling regional water shortages.
