Best bets in and around Durango

Garden Club of Durango will host its annual plant sale from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, rain or shine, at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave. Early attendees will have access to the best selection.

Plants are from local or members’ gardens. A large selection of irises, labeled by color, will be available. Proceeds are used to maintain the gardens at Santa Rita Park.

Stillwater Music will host its 10th annual Party in the Park from noon to 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Buckley Park in Durango.

More than 120 young people in Stillwater Music bands will perform live music and Bella Dance groups will perform. Students from Durango Martial Arts Academy will give demonstrations as well.

There will be food from Juicy’s Shanty and five hours of live music.
