The 68th annual Four Corners Gem and Mineral show will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the La Plata County Fairgrounds.
Events will feature all things gem and mineral with more than 60 vendors, classes, kids’ activities and food trucks.
The Gem and Mineral Club itself turns 75 this year.

Purgatory Resort will host a brew fest from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the beach at the resort’s base area. Beers from Ska Brewing Co., Telluride Brewing Co., New Belgium, Fenceline Cider and others will be featured.
Tickets are $25. Attendees will receive a souvenir tasting glass and unlimited tastings while listening to live music from State 38.
