Best bets in and around Durango

Bayfield’s Pine River Festival is this weekend and will feature 20 plus breweries, all-day music, food vendors and more. (Jerry McBride/Durango Herald file)

The Durango premiere of Teton Gravity Research’s new mountain bike movie “Esperanto” is at 6 and 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Durango Arts Center.

The film mixes the rock stars of mountain biking with a cast of unknown and up-and-coming bikers. It also explores how bikers can express themselves through a universal two-wheeled language across cultures.

The early show costs $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 16 and younger. The late show costs $15 for all. There will be prize giveaways from Teton’s sponsors Specialized, Dometic, Tincup, Ride Concepts and more.
