Falls colors are hitting their peak around Southwest Colorado, and this weekend should offer brilliant displays.
The San Juan National Forest says the entire San Juan Skyway is exploding with colors. Leaves are peaking or near their peak from Purgatory Resort north to Ouray and west to Telluride and Rico.
Leaves are also peaking on Missionary Ridge, north of Durango. In Pagosa Springs and La Plata Canyon, they are near their peak.
