The Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College presents Flagship Romance at 7 p.m. Friday as a part of the LIVE at the Smiley Cafe series. The Smiley Cafe, 1309 East Third Ave., offers an intimate experience for a pop-up show in its 50-person venue.
The New Mexico-based duo covers the sonic realms of folk, pop, rock, jazz and EDM. Flagship Romance’s songs are described as having sticky melodies and lyrics that balance raw honesty and universal accessibility.

Rain or shine, the San Juan Brewfest is on for two days, VIP Friday and general admission Saturday at Buckley Park. A shrinking number of tickets is available, but for those who want to be designated drivers, there is no limit.
Saturday’s general admission tickets, which are $45, will get attendees access to 35 breweries. A souvenir glass comes with admission and a meal is available for purchase. Those who attend Friday’s VIP experience, a $100 cost, also get Brewfest merch, a concert performance from Ryan Chrys & the Rough Cuts, a meal from 2nd Deli and Spirits, and dessert from Cream Bean Berry.
Designated drivers get a special ticket price of $50 for VIP Friday and $30 for general admission Saturday. The Brewfest will provide a shaded seating area as well as special mocktails from Seasons Rotisserie and Grill, El Moro Spirits and Tavern, Brightside Spirits and Ska Brewing for designated drivers.
