Durango Pride is here and it’s bringing a full parade this year! The kickoff event will be at Lola’s Place to energize you for the weekend. The whole affair will be marked by lots of music, dance and festive atmosphere.
Buckley Park will be the main event venue for the Saturday comings and goings. There will be special events held at local businesses as well. With a 21-and-older space at Starlight Lounge to a recovery brunch at Olde Tymer’s Cafe, you will have lots of opportunities to join the fun.
Some special guests will also be featured. Self-described newcomer to the scene Vivica Validation will join brunchees to host “I Don’t Know Her: The Mariah Carey Drag Brunch Kalorie Karbdashian.” The festival portion of the events will have Kalorie Karbdashian from RuPaul’s Drag Race to bring an extra bit of “wicked stepsister” energy.
