FREAK SHOW is the inaugural Halloween Party hosted by DGO Magazine. DGO is a cannabis lifestyle magazine based in Durango. FREAK SHOW will be at the Garage Billiards & Music Hall on Oct. 29 from 9 p.m. to midnight. Entrance fee is $5.

The Secret Circus Society, known for its freaks and treats, will be present with ambiance performers. There will be a cash prize costume contest with Durango’s Resident Alien Queen Aria Pettyone as the announcer.

Durango High School student-run theater troupe 1096 is putting on “Anastasia.“ Based on the animated movie from 20th Century Fox, ”Anastasia“ is set amidst the turmoil of the Russian revolution with the Bolshevik regime on the rise. Anya, an amnesiac orphan stranded in what was once the Russian capital, St. Petersburg, is on a quest to rediscover her past which she believes lies in Paris.
