Purgatory Resort will host the annual Hollywood Huckfest on Saturday. (Durango Herald file)

Purgatory Ski Resort will host the annual Hollywood Huckfest from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Purgatory, 1 Skier Place.

The event is free to view and is $45 to participate. The Hollywood Huckfest is run by the Durango Winter Sports Club

Hollywood Huckfest is a slopestyle-freeride event with kickers above the cliff faces on the “Hollywood” expert terrain of the Catharsis run. It’s open to all skiers and riders ages 10 and older. Athletes will be judged on air, tricks, cleanness of landings and riding ability.

Contestant spots are limited to 55 riders.
