Best bets in and around Durango

The 88th annual Fiesta Days rodeo returns with three performances. Two of the shows will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday with the third show at 12:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for children 15 and under.

The Fiesta Days rodeo queen will be crowned at 6:15 p.m. Saturday. Friday will have both bareback bronc and saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, mutton busting, bull riding, steer wrestling, calf roping and breakaway roping.

Tickets can be purchase at Bootbarn, 830 South Camino del Rio, or at the gate. Military members in uniform may enter for free.
