Best bets this weekend include Juneteenth and BurroFest.
The annual Juneteenth Freed Day celebration will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Rotary Park.
Southwest Movement 4 Black Lives will celebrate the liberation of enslaved African Americans. The event will feature speakers, personal stories, educators and a celebration of the history and meaning of Juneteenth.
Food vendors, music, crafts and activities will also be available.

BurroFest will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday in downtown Mancos.
The free, family-friendly festival will kick off with the Grand Entry in Boyle Park and feature 15 costumed burros and their handlers participating in a variety of challenges on an obstacle course.
A framed, limited-edition giclee of “The Burro Brigade” by Veryl Goodnight is the grand prize. After the obstacle course race and awards ceremony, burros, their handlers and their assigned artists will move to an individual canopy on Grand Avenue.
Artist demonstrations will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Many demonstrations will be interactive and will include painting and drawing, sculpting, lino-block printing and leather tooling.
