Best bets this weekend in and around Durango

Best bets this weekend include Super Pride and Doo-Wah Riders.

The 4 Corners Rainbow Youth Center will host Super Pride from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Buckley Park.

Live music will be provided by Profectic Calaveras and Denae Stucka-Benally. There will also be a family-friendly talent show and costume contest.

Attendees may also bid on silent auction items, take photos at the photo booth and get dinner from local food trucks. Participants are invited to dress up. The favorite costume will win a prize.

Bringing lawn chairs or blankets is recommended. San Juan Basin Public Health’s COVID-19 protocol will be enforced.

Doo-Wah Riders will perform at 7:30 p.m. at Lions Wilderness Amphitheater, 5800 College Blvd., Farmington.

The American country music band has been performing for more than 40 years. The band’s music is described as “high energy country with a Cajun twist” and features unique arrangements of classic and original songs.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for seniors and children and may be purchased at www.fmtn.org/shows.
