Best bets this weekend in and around Durango

Best bets this weekend include iAM MUSIC Fest and Northwest New Mexico Arts Council’s Art Walk.

The iAM MUSIC Fest will take place from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Buckley Park, with an after party at 9:30 p.m. at Animas City Theatre.

The festival will feature Elder Grown, Graham Good & The Painters, Brett Lynn, Alex Blocker and The Secret Circus Society.

The event will follow COVID-19 guidelines and will allow attendees to safely enjoy music while supporting local independent artists.

General admission is $15, and includes admission to the after party. Four-person tables are $100 and 6-person tables are $150.

Northwest New Mexico Arts Council and downtown Farmington will host an Art Walk from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday in downtown Farmington.

The Art Walk will feature a variety of local artists and will celebrate the grand opening of The Harvest Good Hub & Kitchen at its new location, 310 W. Animas St. The ribbon-cutting will take place at 5:30 p.m. The dual event will offer live music, food trucks and information booths.

Downtown businesses will host artists at their locations and artists will also display items at Orchard Park.
