Best bets this weekend in and around Durango

Best bets this weekend include “Dracula! The Radio Play” and the Marvel Halloween Bash.

“Dracula! The Radio Play” by Philip Grecian will be presented by KSJE and Theater Ensemble Arts from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday and 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday online and over the radio.

The play is based on the novel by Bram Stoker and promises thrills, chills and intrigue as performers venture into the dark tale of this classic count.

Marvel Grange will host a community breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the grange hall, 217 County Road 133A.

Pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, juice and coffee will be served.

The Halloween Bash will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at grange hall.

The event is for children in the community. Games planned include a fish pond, bean bag toss, ring toss, checkers, cupcake/cookie walk and a pumpkin crafting table. Prizes and candy will be given to those who participate in the games.
