Best bets this weekend include the Virtual Four Corners Folk Festival and the Labor Day Weekend Celebration.
In place of the 25th anniversary of the Four Corners Folk Festival on Reservoir Hill in Pagosa Springs, the festival will be presented virtually from 6:50 to 9 p.m. Friday via KSUT radio and Facebook Live.
The two-hour, curated performance will feature music recorded specifically for KSUT by Michael Franti and Spearhead, Tommy Emmanuel, Rising Appalachia, Stillhouse Junkies, Caitlin Cannon and Alice Wallace.
Dan Appenzeller, who died recently, will also be honored. Appenzeller is co-founder of the Pagosa Folk N’ Bluegrass and Four Corners Folk Festivals.

Tico Time River Resort will host a Labor Day Weekend Celebration from Friday to Sunday at the resort, 20 County Road 2050, in Aztec.
The celebration will include fireworks, DJ Codestar, fire dancers and live music by Gen-I-Ration Zero, as well as the resort’s regular activities. Camping and RV sites are limited and reservations are required.
