The International Fly Fishing Film Festival is currently being presented virtually in Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico.

The International Fly Fishing Film Festival is currently being presented virtually in Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico.

The festival features 10 films, 6- to 16-minutes in length, from all over the world showcasing the passion, lifestyle and culture of fly-fishing.

One attendee will win the 2020 grand prize drawing consisting of thousands of dollars of fly-fishing gear provided by International Fly Fishing Film Festival sponsors. There will also be fishing product giveaways and other promotions during the event.

Admission to the virtual festival is $15. Tickets are available online at bit.ly/3kmCHhi. Viewers may log on to the site anytime within 48 hours of the showing. Tickets will be active for seven days.

The second annual Leadership La Plata Volunteer Day will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Durango Chamber of Commerce lawn, 2301 Main Ave.

LLP alumni and guests are invited to participate in a day of volunteering around town. Check-in on the lawn outside the Chamber building for coffee and planning. Social distancing and masks are required.

From 9 to 11:30 a.m., volunteer groups of three to four will go to various locations in the community. Lunch will be provided from noon to 1 p.m. at the new Zia Taqueria outdoor patio, 2977 Main Ave.

Participants will receive a free LLP T-shirt.

Bring an LLP name tag, work gloves, closed-toe shoes, water bottle, face mask and hand sanitizer.
