Best bets this weekend in and around Durango

Best bets this weekend include Two Hearts Wedding Experience and Jazz Fest.

Two Hearts Wedding Experience, hosted by Four Corners Expos, will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at DoubleTree Hotel, 501 Camino del Rio.

The expo will feature dozens of local exhibitors ready to help attendees plan their wedding day with expert advice and with savings on time and cost. Representatives will be available from a variety of wedding businesses. New to this year’s bridal show will be vendor-created “vignettes” to illustrate their work.

Live music will be provided by High Country Hustle, PJ Moon & The Swappers, Leah Orlikowski, Matt Rupnow and Tyler Reed Smith, and Robert Webster.

Christopher Beaty will highlight the 20th annual Jazz Festival at 7 p.m. Friday at the San Juan College Little Theatre, 4601 College Blvd.

The event will feature original music by Beaty, Michael Brecker and Benny Golson. A jazz contest award ceremony will be held during the concert.

Tickets for Jazz Fest are $18 for adults, $15 for students and $12 for seniors and children 12 and younger. Tickets are available online at www.sanjuancollege.edu/silhouette.
