Best bets this weekend include the Celtic Music Festival and the Home Expo.
Durango Celtic Music Festival will run Thursday through Saturday, with most events at Henry Strater Theater and Irish Embassy Pub.
This year’s festival will feature three days of traditional and modern Celtic music, covering the sounds of Ireland, Scotland, the Hebrides and Cape Breton, along with original blends. Musicians include Ed Miller and Rich Brotherton; Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas; Réalta; HighTime; and RUNA.
A variety of workshops will also be offered during the festival.

San Juan County Home Builders and Remodeling Expo will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Farmington Civic Center, 200 W. Arrington St., Farmington.
The expo will feature more than 80 local builders, contractors, remodelers, designers, landscapers, home decor, DIY experts, and kitchen and home wares.
This is a family-friendly event with activities for all ages including the adult Lego Build Off and Backyard Build Off Charity Challenge. Admission is free.
