Best bets this weekend include the Coke Race Series and the Inside Out exhibit.
The Coke Race Series 1 will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Durango Nordic Ski Club, a half mile north of Purgatory Resort on U.S. Highway 550.
This long-standing Durango event brings skiers together to celebrate winter from beginning to end. This is the first of three races that will cover three distances, three costumes and three ways to win over three Saturdays from December to March. Skate or classic techniques will be announced before each race day.
Registration begins an hour before the start time for each race. Cost is $10 per event for youths and $20 per event for adults.

Farmington Museum’s Inside Out exhibit is available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday to Sunday at the museum, 3041 E. Main St., Farmington.
2020 marks the centennial of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, giving women the vote in the United States. “Inside Out: Women’s Status and Roles from Foundation to Silhouette” provides an overview of women in America during the past 100 years. Outfits featured within the exhibit include clothes worn by Dolly Madison, Grace Kelly, Selena, Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga and other iconic women who have exhibited strength, femininity and power through fashion.
The exhibit runs through Jan. 17.
