Best bets this weekend in and around Durango

Best bets this weekend include Beats and Treats and the Rockin’ Rockabilly Party.

Purgatory Resort and Steamworks Brewing Co. will team up for the Beats and Treats on the Beach event from noon to 2 p.m. Friday by the Bear Bar at the resort.

Steamworks will offer samples of its Backside S’mores Stout. Ski up to the bar for a drink or stop by just for the beer.

Sunflower Theatre at KSJD will host the New Year’s Rockin’ Rockabilly Party from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Sunflower Theatre, 8 E. Main St.

Ring in 2020 with an evening of music hosted by KSJD DJs Doc B and Big John. There will also be a limbo contest, specialty cocktails and dancing.
