The Durango Bach Festival Finale will wrap up the 12th annual festival at 7 p.m. Saturday at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 910 East Third Ave. The festival is organized by Third Avenue Arts in cooperation with the Four Corners Music Teachers Association and Jimmy’s Music & Supply.
The festival features music by Johann Sebastian Bach, performed by the Bach Festival Orchestra with special guest musicians Marilyn Garst, Thomas Heuser, Lauren Avery Heuser and Rebecca Ray.

Durango Hula Ohana invites the community to join in its celebration of the renewal of spring at its Ho’ike Durango 2019 event at 7 p.m. Friday at the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave. The celebration will feature a Hawaiian hula presentation, studio showing and cultural appreciation.
Admission to the celebration is one non-perishable food item per person to benefit the food bank. Monetary donations will also be accepted and will help Durango Hula Ohana pay for extra rehearsal studio rental and travel expenses for visiting master teachers.
