So much snow! Well, at least we aren’t on fire and thank God for that. The news story about snow removal woes was right on target. I think I was one of the first responders to a social media ad on snow removal, and the gentleman was a good worker during the first snowstorm. At the beginning of the second storm, I looked out my window and saw my neighbor clearing my front sidewalk and walkway with his snowblower. Without fanfare, he returned twice last week.
I’ve always said that, yes, Durango is beautiful and the mountains are majestic. But the best thing about Durango is that it is home to so many kind and caring people. Now that I’m a “senior,” I am more convinced than ever that I was right.
